All elections are held in the Trempealeau Town Hall, W24854 State Road 54/93, Galesville, WI (Centerville).
February 16 – 2016 Spring Primary
April 5 – 2016 Spring Election & Presidential Preference Vote
August 9 – Partisan Primary
November 8 – 2016 Fall General Election
Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
February 21 – 2017 Spring Primary
April 4 – 2017 Spring Election
To register to vote please contact the clerk/treasurer at the Town Hall – (608) 539-2902 or print form EL-131, Wisconsin Voter Registration Application and forward to the clerk/treasurer with the required proof of residence. The form can also be found on the Government Accountability Board website, www.gab.wi.gov.
Voter registration is open through the mail until 20 days prior to an election. Once registration closes at 5:00 p.m. 20 days before an election, you may only register to vote in the clerk/treasurer’s office, with proof of residence, until the clerk/treasurer’s office closes for business the Friday before the election. State law now prohibits voter registration the Saturday, Sunday, and Monday before an election, but voters may still register at the polls on Election Day.
If you have not voted in the past four years your name may have been removed from the voter registration list. You can check to see if you are registered to vote by going to https://myvote.wi.gov and selecting “My Voter Info”.
Sample ballots may be viewed at https://myvote.wi.gov by selecting “What’s on My Ballot” and typing in your address.
