Responsibilities / duties
This position when filled will last until April of 2026
Dear candidate; this position asks for participation in the below activities; this is a partial list and can possibly be edited as needed. We look forward to filling this at our May 8, 2025 monthly board meeting. If you have any questions, please contact anyone listed at the bottom.
1) Attend monthly board meetings (usually 2nd Thursday) and Annual meeting
2) Participate in assigned committees
3) Review board meeting prep materials prior to each meeting
4) Be available to be a Board of Review representative (Tax objections by residents)
5) Be ready to discuss current and future roadwork.
6) Contribute to short & long term planning/projects
7) Be a member of a team, be a voice for the people.
Optional opportunities
1) Meet with other town board members at quarterly Trempealeau County unit meetings.
2) Training opportunities through the Wisconsin Town’s Association “WTA” (spring/fall)
3) Capitol day on odd years in Madison to meet with your representatives.
4) Access to expertise from WTA for informational advice on town issues.
